Harvington Fly Fishery lies in private ground adjacent to Harvington Hall in the Worcestershire countryside between Kidderminster and Bromsgrove.

As far as we can tell from the information available to us Harvington Fly Fishers were formed in the early 1980's – the earliest membership list we have is dated 1982. Membership grew, in those early days, mainly by word of mouth, was soon in excess of 20, and has rarely dropped below the low twenties since – we currently limit membership to forty full members and due to this limit the pool is never crowded.

Harvington Fly Fishers is managed by a small committee elected at our Annual General Meeting, now held in December. The pool is maintained by the membership with the help of a small number of honorary members, and we endeavour to maintain a high standard both of the pool and its surroundings, and of the quality of fishing provided.

We are a happy, friendly Group, new members are welcome when vacancies occur, and will always receive help and advice when appropriate. There is a small hut by the pool which contains the ‘catch and return register’, plus any current information for members, and which can be very useful when the weather becomes too inclement.
